Tahkyah Caslin Brings Plenty  (born May 12 in Eagle Butte, South Dakota) is a  Cheyenne River Sioux (Lakota)  activist, dancer, actress, and youth leader. A proud member of the Brings Plenty family and niece of actor  Moses Brings Plenty , she is also the cousin of the late actor and activist  Cole Brings Plenty . Tahkyah is an advocate for  Native American representation ,  Lakota culture preservation , and  youth empowerment . She has served on multiple  Native youth councils , held the titles of  Miss Phoenix Indian  and  Miss World Indian , and performed as a  powwow dancer and judge .
